Flowline-Riser Cleanout 
Software for Subsea Flowline-Riser Cleanout Operations
Flowline-Riser Cleanouts are primarily performed to remove blockages in subsea flowlines.These blockages can be in the form of hydrates, wax, or paraffin. The operation is similar to wellbore cleanouts and is performed with a coiled tubing (CT) unit and a "wash" fluid. TubeFlow FA provides the capability to model such Flowline-Riser cleanouts through a steady-state and transient analysis.

A Flowline-Riser cleanout analysis in TubeFlow FA provides the following features:

  • steady-state or transient analysis  
  • fluid selection through design  
  • comphrensive fluids configuration including non-newtonian and multiphase flow models
  • solid bed heights and settling rates during cleanout operation
  • flowline-riser elevation profile specification
  • pressure and temperature profiles
  • volume of wash fluid required and time for cleanout
